This is a photo of the Phoenix probe about to land on Mars. Alright, to the uninitiated it might look like a small speck. But consider - we’re landing a man-made technologically advanced vehicle on the surface of another planet.
Coolness.

Yeah this was awesome! I had no idea it was happeneing - sometimes I think we are just really far ahead of the curve in science. Sure you can toast your bread, but we can land and take samples on fucking Mars! But without seeing it, well, it’s hard to be excited. But just knowing it, amazing stuff.
